Our Story

TAI

In 2015, we adopted a rescue dog called Tai and in 2017 he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. Initially, we stuck to vet advice and traditional AEDs, but as we struggled to control his seizure pattern, we began researching ways to support and supplement to help him. Our vets were amazingly supportive during this process and we did this in conjunction with their advice, and continue to do so today. I am absolutely an advocate of working with epilepsy from both a scientific and holistic angle.

BEWILDERING CHOICES

Once I started researching, I found myself even more overwhelmed than before with different types of supplements, brands, doses, strengths, uses and most confusing of all – opinions! I wished then that there was just one place I could go to get everything we needed! My father was then sadly diagnosed with a terminal illness in 2018, so again I turned to researching the benefits of using natural health supplements.

 DOG RESCUE

I continue to work to support dog rescues and every order received generates a donation to their cause and in our first month of trading, we sent £73.24 to Saints Sled Dog Rescue. Sadly Tai passed in March from something unrelated to his epilepsy, but we wanted to share our knowledge and continue to help both rescue dogs and epileptic dogs.

I am proud to say we have adopted another pup with epilepsy – SSDR Skye and I’m sure our adventures and experiences with him will feature heavily in our blog once it is up and running. I am currently studying a Diploma in Homeopathic Medicines to improve my knowledge base so that I am able to help as many people as possible in their efforts to support and protect their pets.
